  • Liveness Check: We capture real-time photos to verify that the person submitting the ID is its legitimate holder
  • Verification Process: Our system compares the ID photo with the liveness check photo to confirm identity
  • Data Retention: KYC documents are retained as required by law and for security purposes. Liveness check photos are automatically deleted after successful verification
  • Usage: KYC data is used solely for identity verification, fraud prevention, and compliance with regulatory requirements

9. Payments and Transactions

Our platform facilitates secure transactions through the following mechanisms:

  • Vendor Payments: Vendors provide Mobile Money (MoMo) details to receive payments for orders delivered
  • Payment on Delivery: All transactions are payment-on-delivery only to ensure security and trust
  • Referral Rewards: Users provide payment details to receive rewards for valid referrals
  • Data Protection: Payment details are encrypted and stored securely. We do not store full payment credential information
  • Third-party Processors: All payments are processed through certified payment service providers with their own privacy policies

10. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations:

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter
  • KYC documents: Retained as required by anti-fraud regulations and financial compliance laws

  • Chat messages: Retained for 30 days after order completion for dispute resolution
  • Liveness check photos: Deleted immediately after successful verification
